Just to show there is more than one way to cook a chicken, or in this case a model. (wait, is that the way the saying goes??)

I posted a few of these earlier to show some cards but I feel like I need to officially post them. 🙂 This little baby boy was so fun. He just let me mold him this way and that. Every now and then I would hold him up to my chest to warm him and to get him snug and sleepy again. I just really had a nice time with these…and he couldn’t be cuter! Tell me you don’t want to chew on those feet!

My first session was on May 4th 2008. Not too long ago if you think about it. But I have learned much and have grown much in this short time. But thankfully I still have so much to learn. 🙂 This first session was with a family of three. They were super nice and their little buo was SO tired. lol! He was the typical little one (including my own) that somehow knows it’s picture day so they decide they will not nap when they are supposed to but fall asleep right before you get there. Mine did it everytime! How do they know?! We went to the university gardens. I love it there. It’s so pretty. There is this particular stone circular arch that I LOVE. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.
The first one is still one of my all time favorites. There are a lot more in this session that I love, too many to post. I love the last one here because it shows just how tired he was but what a trooper he was. He really rallied well. I couldn’t have asked for a better 1st session or a better family to have it with.

I have so much I want to tell you! But it’s just going to have to wait. lol! But I will say.. I just redid, well I’m in the process of redoing my whole website after being inspired by finishing this blog finally! Please check it out and tell me what you think. I’m still working on putting the galleries together so don’t judge too harshly. 🙂 www.SaraMellanderPhotography.com. I’m excited about some other things including the possiblility of having the chance to mentor a high school student! Who woulda thought?! Ha! And just ten years ago.. well nevermind. 🙂 I’ll tell you more about the mentoring as I find out more and I also want to tell you all about my sessions, starting from the beginning. 😀
